Dough Raiser Rules

IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ THESE RULES CAREFULLY.  “RULES” MEANS ANY TERMS, CONDITIONS, REGULATIONS OR RULES, WHICH GOVERN DOUGH RAISER AS DESCRIBED BELOW. THESE RULES DESCRIBE DOUGH RAISER AND ALL BENEFITS THAT HUNGRY HOWIE’S OFFERS THROUGH DOUGH RAISER (THE “PROGRAM”).  PROGRAM USE IS CONDITIONED UPON ACCEPTANCE AND COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND WHICH WILL BE LEGALLY BINDING. THESE RULES ALSO INCLUDE AND INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH SHOULD BE REVIEWED: HUNGRY HOWIE’S GLOBAL TERMS OF USE POSTED AT HTTP://WWW.HUNGRYHOWIES.COM/TERMS-USE; AND HUNGRY HOWIE’S PRIVACY STATEMENT POSTED AT HTTP://WWW.HUNGRYHOWIES.COM/PRIVACY-STATEMENT.

 

IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT OR COMPLY WITH THE RULES, THEN DO NOT USE THE PROGRAM.  The Rules do not impact, alter, or change any terms and conditions or rules of any other agreements or programs.

 

ARBITRATION AND NO CLASS ACTIONS NOTICE:  AS DESCRIBED IN HUNGRY HOWIE’S GLOBAL TERMS OF USE POSTED AT HTTP://WWW.HUNGRYHOWIES.COM/TERMS-USE, YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND HUNGRY HOWIE’S PIZZA & SUBS, INC. WILL BE RESOLVED BY BINDING, INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, AND YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO BRING OR RESOLVE ANY DISPUTE AS, OR PARTICIPATE IN, A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, REPRESENTATIVE, COLLECTIVE, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION OR ARBITRATION.

 

Definitions: To simplify the language in these Rules, the following definition apply. Capitalized terms have the meaning set forth herein or in the Global Terms of Use or Privacy Statement described above.  If there is a conflict between these Rules and the Global Terms of Use or Privacy Statement, these Rules will supersede.

 

“Customer(s)” means a person or entity purchasing or redeeming a Dough Raiser Certificate.

 

“Dough Raiser”, “we”, “us”, or “our” collectively refers to Dough Raiser, LLC, a not-for-profit Michigan corporation. Our address is 30300 Stephenson Highway, Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. Our telephone number is (248) 414-3300 ext. 5.

 

“Dough Raiser Certificate(s)” mean one time use certificates sold through the Program with a unique “scratch off” code, which are redeemable only online for a medium 1-topping pizza with FREE Flavored Crust.  Dough Raiser Certificates are valid only at participating locations. Certificates and redemption are subject to these Rules, terms, and conditions. No substitutions allowed. Choice of traditional round or thin crust.  Additional toppings extra.  Topping prices may vary.

 

“Hungry Howie’s means “Hungry Howie’s Pizza & Subs, Inc.”, a Michigan corporation. Hungry Howie’s has been around for almost 50 years and has hundreds of carry-out and delivery pizza restaurants in the United States.  All Hungry Howie’s restaurants are independently owned and operated businesses that are known as a “Franchise Operator(s)”.

 

“Non-Profit Organization(s)” means a domestic nonprofit organization incorporated or organized under the laws of the United States of America.  Organizations must be domiciled and operating in the United States of America.

 

What is Dough Raiser? The Program allows Non-Profit Organizations to raise funds by selling Dough Raiser Certificates. The Program is operated under license by Hungry Howie’s.  Dough Raiser is solely responsible for the Program’s contents and operation.

 

Do All Hungry Howie’s Restaurants Participate in Dough Raiser? For a variety of reasons, Franchise Operators may not always participate in the Program.  Customers may not be able to redeem Dough Raiser Certificates at every Hungry Howie’s restaurant. Hungry Howie’s restaurants in the State of Florida do not participate in Dough Raiser. Sorry for any inconvenience.

 

How Do Customers Get Dough Raiser Certificates? For Customers, Dough Raiser Certificates are only available for purchase from Non-Profit Organizations participating in the Program.  These Non-Profit Organizations participate to raise funds to support their programs.  When a Customer purchases, a Dough Raiser certificate they are helping a local Non-Profit Organization achieve their fundraising goals.

 

How Are Dough Raiser Certificates Redeemed? When a Customer purchases a Dough Raiser Certificate, they can only be redeemed online. “Scratch off” promo codes on each Dough Raiser Certificate are valid for one-time use only.  To redeem a Dough Raiser Certificate online, simply start an order on www.hungryhowies.com and add a medium 1-topping pizza to your cart.  No additional purchase is required. Then, “scratch off” the box to reveal the unique promo code on the Dough Raiser Certificate and enter it in the promo code text box. The online ordering cart will reflect that the promo code has been applied. Dough Raiser Certificates are for carryout only.  Additional menu items, taxes, additional toppings, and tips are extra and the Customer’s responsibility.  Other coupons, offers and promotions may also have restrictions. Altered, tampered, or reproduced Dough Raiser Certificates are not valid. Promo codes are valid for one time use only.

 

Who Do I Contact for Help? Our Franchise Owners have no control over Non-Profit Organization accounts, so please make sure to check out our FAQs or contact us instead of your local Hungry Howie’s restaurant and we will get back with you within two business days. Make sure to have your proof of purchase when you contact us.  If you need help ordering online due to a disability, contact your local Hungry Howie’s store, call (248) 414-3300 and press 5, or email doughraiser@hungryhowies.com.

 

Who can fundraise with Dough Raiser? Dough Raiser accounts are only available to Non-Profit Organizations.  Dough Raiser reserves the right, in its sole and unfettered discretion, to reject or not approve any registration or application for participation in Dough Raiser.

 

How can a Non-Profit Organization start fundraising with Dough Raiser?

  • Register your Non-Profit Organization by calling (248) 414-3300 and press 5 and request a start-up kit.
  • Set selling dates and price.
  • Review the starter kit that will be provided at no additional cost.
  • Distribute order forms and promotional materials to fundraising volunteers.
  • Collect money for each Dough Raiser Certificate from Customers at the time orders are placed.
  • Place order for Dough Raiser Certificates by mailing your check or money order and Order Form to Hungry Howies Corporate Office.
  • Distribute Dough Raiser Certificates to Customers upon receipt of Dough Raiser Certificates.

 

Does my organization need to buy anything up front? No. Hungry Howie’s supplies Non-Profit Organizations with everything they need to start selling Dough Raiser Certificates at no cost.

 

How many certificates does my organization need to sell? A minimum of 100 Dough Raiser Certificates must be sold for your first order.

 

How do I order certificates after we’re done fundraising? Once you know how many Dough Raiser Certificates your group sold, download the Order Form from Doughraiser.com or use the Order Form that was included with your start-up kit. Fill out the form with the number of certificates needed and mail your check and form to Hungry Howie’s Dough Raiser 30300 Stephenson Hwy Suite 200 Madison Heights MI 48071. https://doughraiser.com/sites/default/files/hh_dough_raiser_certificate_order_form_003.pdf 

 

What forms of Payment are accepted for Dough Raiser?

Dough Raiser accepts Non-Profit Organization checks, money orders, or cashier’s checks made payable to Dough Raiser, LLC. Cash, credit cards, or personal checks are not accepted.

 

How are Dough Raiser Certificates Delivered?

Your certificates will be shipped to the address you’ve provided on the Dough Raiser order form. There is a small shipping fee provided on the form.

 

Can Dough Raiser Be Changed or Altered?  

Hungry Howie’s reserves the right, in its sole and unfettered discretion, to change, modify, alter, amend, delete or otherwise update these Rules or other benefits of Dough Raiser at any time, which will be effective for any Dough Raiser Certificates sold after the publication date.  Customers and Non-Profit Organizations are responsible for periodically checking these Rules.  Unless otherwise stated, the Rules in effect at the time a Dough Raiser Certificate is purchased will apply.

 

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: DOUGH RAISER, HUNGRY HOWIE’S, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, FRANCHISE OWNERS, AND PROMOTIONAL AND ADVERTISING AGENCIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PRINTING OR COMPUTER ERROR, OMISSION, INTERRUPTION, IRREGULARITY, DELETION, DEFECT, DELAY IN OPERATIONS OR TRANSMISSION, THEFT OR DESTRUCTION OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF DOUGH RAISER CERTIFICATES OR MATERIALS OR FOR TECHNICAL, NETWORK, TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC, COMPUTER, HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE MALFUNCTIONS OF ANY KIND, OR INACCURATE TRANSMISSION OF DOUGH RAISER INFORMATION DUE TO TECHNICAL PROBLEMS OR TRAFFIC CONGESTION ON THE INTERNET, AT ANY WEB SITE OR ANY COMBINATION THEREOF.

 

INDEMNIFICATION: IN ADDITION TO THE INDEMNIFICATION PROVISION IN OUR GLOBAL TERMS OF USE, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS PARTICIPATING IN DOUGH RAISER HEREBY ACCEPT ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR, AND HEREBY RELEASE AND AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS DOUGH RAISER, HUNGRY HOWIE’S AND FRANCHISE OWNERS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PROMOTIONAL AND ADVERTISING AGENCIES, CONTRACTORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FROM AND AGAINST ANY CLAIMS, DAMAGES, EXPENSES OR LIABILITIES THAT MAY ARISE FROM SUCH NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION’S WILLFUL OR NEGLIGENT ACT OR OMISSION RESULTING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM SUCH NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION’S PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM OR SALE OR REDEMPTION OF DOUGH RAISER CERTIFICATES WHETHER OR NOT THE SUCH ACT OR OMISSION WAS KNOWN OR COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLY FORESEEABLE.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR DOUGH RAISER: IN ADDITION TO THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN OUR GLOBAL TERMS OF USE, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL DOUGH RAISER, HUNGRY HOWIE’S AND FRANCHISE OWNERS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, OFFICERS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, PROMOTIONAL AND ADVERTISING AGENCIES, CONTRACTORS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS, BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM OR ANY PURCHASED ITEM, EVEN IF ANY OR ALL OF THE FOREGOING OR ANY OF THEIR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; THEREFORE, SUCH EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY. IF A CUSTOMER IS IMPROPERLY DENIED REDEMPTION OF ANY DOUGH RAISER CERTIFICATE, LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE EQUIVALENT FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE DOUGH RAISER CERTIFICATE.
